Here at Bishop Walsh Catholic School we are running a fantastic multi-sport programme using all the sports facilities. We are very unique compared to most multi-sports business’s, we are offering a FAMILY environment with a range of sports for all ages starting from age 3 through to teenagers and adults. We also manage all hiring’s/bookings of the sports facilities Monday – Sunday. As you may be aware here at Bishop Walsh Catholic School there some excellent facilities which can cater for all kinds of sports including football, tennis, tag rugby, badminton, table tennis, clubbercise, netball, dance and more.

Lichfield Friary Tennis Club

At Lichfield Friary Tennis Club we offer a comprehensive tennis coaching programme for people of all ages and abilities. As well as the coaching programme there are adult and junior teams, winter leagues, social nights and events for all to get involved in.

Spital Tennis Club, Tamworth

Boasting three floodlit, hard-surface, all-weather courts, there is hardly a better place to play tennis in Tamworth.

All ages and abilities are welcome.  If you are an adult and just want to play for fun and make new friends, come along to the club sessions where they play doubles and everyone mixes in. If you are more serious about your play then come to team practice and you may get selected to play in our of our teams playing in the RTP Burton Lawn Tennis League. Our club coaches offer regular group and individual coaching session for juniors, and if you are an adult wanting to improving your game, coaching can also be arranged.

Spital currently have three ladies teams, two mens teams and two mixed teams in the RTP Burton Lawn Tennis League, which runs from April to September.

Little Aston Tennis Club

Little Aston is a long established small, friendly club with three clay courts. It is situated near the junction of Clarence Road, Little Aston Lane, Rosemary Hill Road and Blake Street. It is behind the Parish hall a few yards into Little Aston Lane. There is plenty of car parking adjacent to the courts. Alrewas Tennis Club

Alrewas Tennis is open to all members of the local community, and is run entirely by volunteers. We have two all-weather, floodlit courts on Walkfield, next to Alrewas Cricket Club. We want to get as many people as possible playing tennis, so we make sure all are welcome and that playing costs are as low as possible.

We provide a safe and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities to come along and enjoy a game of tennis. We have LTA Tennismark accreditation and are registered by HMRC as a Community Amateur Sports Club.
